How max-moves makes money — and why our recommendations stay honest.
The plain version
When you sign up with a provider through max-moves, that provider pays us a small commission. You pay exactly the same price as if you went to the provider directly. We never charge you for using max-moves.
Why our advice is independent
We deliberately structure our partner agreements so that commission rates do not influence which providers we recommend:
- Quiz match logic is based only on your answers — not on commission size.
- We accept providers into the comparison only if they meet our newcomer-friendliness criteria.
- We display alternative options even when we earn nothing from them, where it matters for your decision.
- We publish the commission ranges we receive per category (see below).
Commission ranges
| Category | Typical range |
|---|---|
| Health insurance | €20 – €45 per signup |
| Banking | €10 – €60 per funded account |
| Car lease | €100 – €350 per delivered vehicle |
| Energy | €30 – €80 per active contract |
| Mobile / internet | €15 – €70 per activated subscription |
| Car insurance | €20 – €50 per active policy |
What we don't do
- We do not accept payment to rank a provider higher.
- We do not run "sponsored" quiz results dressed up as matches.
- We do not sell your data to third parties.
Reporting an issue
If you ever feel a recommendation looks like it favours a partner over your interest, email us at info@max-moves.nl. We take this seriously and will review the match logic.
